Position Title: Sanitation & Safety Advocate
Status: Part-Time / 20 hours weekly
Location: Emergency Shelter and Outreach Sites

Position Summary
The Sanitation & Safety Advocate supports the safety, dignity, and well-being of
survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families by maintaining
clean, safe, and secure residential environments within the campus of our emergency
shelter and outreach center.

This position ensures that living spaces meet health and safety standards, prepares
units for incoming residents, and assists with facility safety monitoring to maintain
confidential and secure shelter environments.

Working in coordination with residential advocates and program staff, the Sanitation &
Safety Advocate helps create trauma-informed, welcoming spaces that promote
stability, healing, and safety for survivors accessing housing and supportive services.
